About The Role and Team

As our Marketing Director - Product, you will play a foundational role in shaping how our quantum technologies are understood and brought to market from deep tech ecosystem partners and collaborations to commercial customers across public sector and private sector verticals. You will work at the intersection of product management, business development, and outbound marketing to define our product strategy, craft positioning and messaging, define product offerings, and communicate the value of our technology to key stakeholders.

This is a high-impact  role for a strategic operator with a strong technical foundation and a passion for translating complex technologies into compelling commercial products.

Functions of the Role

Product & Roadmap Marketing

  • Build and maintain product roadmaps, including offerings, SKUs, and pricing.

  • Work closely with leadership and product management to align technology roadmaps with business objectives.

  • Collaborate with business development on design win activities and go-to-market strategy.

Positioning & Messaging

  • Develop core product positioning and messaging tailored to various market verticals and customer personas.

  • Articulate the value proposition for Quantum Motion’s products and technology stack.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Perform competitive analyses to inform product strategy and differentiation.

  • Engage with industry analysts to understand industry and user trends/needs.

  • Provide strategic insight to influence product direction and investment priorities.

Customer & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Act as a product thought leader in customer engagements to support business development efforts.

  • Collect and synthesise customer feedback to guide product roadmap development.

  • Represent Quantum Motion at industry events, panels, and forums to drive thought leadership.

  • Partner with ecosystem partners (e.g. Industry, academic collaborators) to support strategic initiatives and partnerships.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Interface with Product Management to align on technical direction and roadmap.

  • Collaborate with Business Development on go-to-market strategy and customer engagement.

  • Partner with Outbound Marketing to deliver effective campaigns and content that reflect the product vision.

Experience - Essentials
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in product marketing, product management, or technical marketing, ideally in HPC, quantum, semiconductors, or cloud infrastructure.

  • Strong technical background and familiarity with semiconductor, quantum computing and/or adjacent technologies.

  • Experience launching and ramping computing products in the market.

  • Experience driving design wins with business partners, engaging with marquee clients, and supporting competitive RFP responses.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to translate complex technology into clear business value.

  • Experience working globally and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, startup or scale-up environment.

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude, comfortable with both planning and execution.

Experience - Desirable
  • Background in engineering, semiconductors, or computer science (BSc, MSc or PhD).

  • Experience working with enterprise technology partners (e.g.system OEMs, CPU/GPU vendors, software vendors, etc).

  • Familiarity with enterprise B2B marketing in emerging technologies.
